When you have other items that cannot be washed, the remedy is to put then in a plastic bag and tie them tightly for three days, and this will kill off the mites. Tea tree oil is the other effective natural remedy that you can use at home to treat scabies. The tea tree oil is very powerful oil that is used for antibacterial purposes. It has proven to do a magnificent job when it comes to the elimination of lice. Add the tea tree oils to the water you are using for bathing. You can use around twenty drops of the oils to the bath water. After you have finished with the bath, you are also advised to put a few drops of the tea tree oil on damp cotton and wipe the most affected areas in your body.
